Mozilla Thunderbird

1. Start Mozzilla Thunderbird

2. From the 'Tools' menu select 'Account Settings '

3. From the button left hand corner of the Account Settings window selected 'Add Account'

4. Selected 'Email Account' and click 'Next'.

5. In the 'Your Name' field enter the name you would like displayed on outgoing email, then in the 'Email Address' field enter the email address you have created. Click Next.

6. Select POP3 as the type of incoming server, then in the 'Incoming Server' field enter the address of mail.<mydomain.co.nz>, where <mydomain.co.nz> is your own domain name. Click Next.

7. In the 'Incoming Username' field enter your full email address, this should be the same address you entered in the Email Address field previously. If shown leave the 'Outgoing Username' blank. Click Next.

8. Enter the 'Account Name' which will be used to refer to this account. You can choose any name. Click Next.

9 Click 'Finish'. You've now successfully set up your new POP3 account.


If you have set up more than one account you can repeat the steps above for each account. There are no requirements for all the accounts to be on one computer, so if you have multiple computers with Internet access you can set up a POP3 account for each one.
